Casio EX-G1 Available for Preorder

The Casio EX-G1 digital camera is finally available for preorder at Amazon for $299.95. The Casio EX-G1 is currently available in two different colors: black and red. Here are the specs:

According to Casio, the Exilim G EX-G1’s outer build is stainless steel, and the inner body is made from polycarbonate reinforced with fiberglass. What I’m most interested to see is that the camera body can withstand drops from up to 7 feet, is waterproof for 60 minutes in up to 10 feet of water, and operational in temperatures as low as 14 degrees.
