Dell Introduced the New Inspiron 14z & 15z Laptops
Dell released the New Inspiron Z-series Laptops, the Inspiron 14z and 15z, that are slim and affordable. The thinnest-ever models of Dell’s most popular consumer laptop PC, the new Inspiron 14z and 15z are about 1-inch thin, slim enough to fit in any bag, and feature the newest Intel Core Solo 2 ultra-low voltage processors for extended entertainment capability and Web surfing. They join the recently introduced Inspiron 11z, rounding out the Inspiron “z” portfolio of thin, “power-sipping” laptops.
The new notebooks are about an inch thick according to Dell and have 16:9 displays. The 14z offers a 14-inch screen and the 15z is a traditional 15.6-inch model. The machines can also be optioned with core 2 duo processors and up to 500GB of storage.
Other features include up to 8Gb of RAM, Wi-Fi, mobile broadband, and a choice of 4-cell or 6-cell standard batteries and 4-cell and 6-cell express charge batteries that can recharge to 80% in only an hour. The machines start at $599 and are available in Dell Home and Home Office
