Samsung I5700 Galaxy Spica Review
The Samsung i5700, also known as the Galaxy Spica is the Samsung’s newest Google Android phone features a 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480) touchscreen. The rest of the specs are pretty standard: a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, support for microSD cards up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Possibly the most interesting feature of the Galaxy is its multimedia powers. It supports DivX for the first time on an Android-powered phone, which will eliminate the hassle of file format conversions. It also has DNSe 2.0 for better sound quality and 3.5mm ear jack.
The Samsung Galaxy Spica offers seamless connectivity, highlighted by smooth access to Google mobile services and easy connection to popular social network sites such as Facebook and MySpace.
Perhaps the most disappointing is that the Galaxy will ship with Android 1.5 “Cupcake” on board, and not the newer 1.6 “Donut” release of Android that’s widely available.
Just announced in Korea early this week the Galaxy Spica should already be available in Europe and Russia and will be available in both Africa and the Middle East in the future. The phone as-is doesn’t support North American 3G bands and is limited only to GSM and EDGE in the region.
According to Samsung Hub It will start selling at a price of 469 Euros ($692),
